PT. Salmah Arowana Lestari

Established on October 1, 1987 by Anuar Salmah, under former company named CV. Sumatera Aqua Prima, located in the village of Muara Fajar, sub-district Rumbai, municipality of Pekanbaru City, and the province of Riau. Started with 30 tails of Golden Red Mahato in breeding based on the principle permission issued by Sub-body of Natural Conservation (SBKSDA) of Riau Province.

With the success of the company to produce F3, on July 27, 1995 the company was granted permission to exercise exporting activities and noted as the exporter based on the letter of clarification by the General Director of PHPA, signed on behalf of the Ministry of Forestry and Plantation.

On February 23, 1999 the company status was lifted up to the higher level and name of the company was changed to PT. Sumatera Aquaprima Buana. Based on the decision of the Ministry of Forestry and Plantation of Republic of Indonesia, Dr. Ir. Muslimin Nasution, the company was awarded “WANA LESTARI SATYA NUGRAHA” in Jakarta on March 16, 1999 for its conservation effort to save one of the country natural resources from extinction.

With nearly 250 breeding ponds and at least 10,000 tails of arowana (Super Red, Golden Red Mahato, Cross Back Golden, Banjar Red and Greenish White) in breeding, the company have produced F4 fries ready for exports. Water supply reservoir, quarantine warehouse and other facilities have been added to support the business.

PT. Silva Dena Aquamina

Responding to the international market, on August 31, 1999 the company acquired nearly 500 hectares of land located in the village of Tapung to establish a new company named PT. Silva Dena Aquamina with another 250 breeding ponds and nearly 15,000 tails of F3 (Super Red, Golden Red Mahato, Cross Back Golden, Banjar Red and Greenish White) in breeding to support international demand. Many facilities include water supply reservoir has also been added to support the production.

On June 2007, the company acquired new business for breeding freshwater stingrays. A new modern facility has been installed to support the production.
